Exeter will host one of the UK’s most celebrated artists and cultural icons as Sir Grayson Perry brings his brand-new show, Grayson Perry: Are You Good?, to The Great Hall on October 27, 2025.

Known for his bold explorations of human behaviour, morality, and identity, Perry’s latest show promises a night of laughter, insight, and the occasional uncomfortable truth. Through audience participation, sharp humour, and even a few quirky songs, Perry will help Exeter’s audience explore whether we’re as virtuous as we like to believe or if, in fact, our halos are a little crooked.

“In a world where it’s increasingly hard to tell the goodies from the baddies, this show feels more relevant than ever,” says Perry. “It’s a theme that resonates in these confusing times.”

This is more than just a comedy show; it’s a thought-provoking journey into what it truly means to be good. And in true Perry pizzazz, no one leaves unscathed - though they’ll undoubtedly leave entertained.

Grayson Perry is not just a Turner Prize-winning artist; he’s a cultural commentator with a flair for challenging convention. From his BAFTA-winning documentaries to his bestselling books and iconic art, Perry has mastered the blend of sharp critique and infectious humour - a combination the Evening Standard aptly described as “a wonder to view.”

Priority pre-sale opens at 10am on November 21, 2024, with general sale at 10am on November 22, 2024.

Exeter’s stop on this national tour is a unique opportunity to experience Perry’s unmatched charisma and thought-provoking insights live. So, as Perry puts it, “let’s pull back the curtain and see where your morals truly lie.”

Tickets are expected to sell quickly - secure yours and join the conversation about whether it’s more important to be good or to be right.
