Police appeal for missing local

Devon and Cornwall Police are appealing to the public for assistance in locating Paul Purslow, a 52-year-old man reported missing from the Exeter area. 

Paul was last seen exiting a taxi in the Dunsford area during the early hours of Tuesday, November 19. Prior to this, he was spotted on Union Street in Exeter at approximately 11:30am on Monday, November 18. 

Described as a white male, 5ft 11ins tall, and of medium to large build, Paul has a shaved head and is often seen wearing a large, puffy coat. He may also be wearing a hat that partially obscures his face. He is known to frequent the Exeter and Ottery St Mary areas.   

Authorities are urging anyone who has seen Paul or may know his whereabouts to contact them immediately. Please call 999 and reference log number 0204 of November 19 2024. 

Your assistance could be vital in ensuring Paul’s safe return.

Update: Paul was safely located on November 20. Devon and Cornwall Police have extended their gratitude for all that helped.
