Stagecoach South West is inviting staff and passengers to help make Christmas brighter for families in need through it's 'Share the Magic' campaign.
Donation stations will be set up in Exeter, Torquay, Barnstaple, and Plymouth, collecting gifts for local charities that support vulnerable families during challenging times.
Peter Knight, Managing Director of Stagecoach South West, said the initiative is a way to give back to the communities they serve, 'Christmas can be a difficult time for many families, and we hope this campaign helps raise awareness and spreads some festive cheer. We know our community will step with their generosity.'
The collected gifts will be donated to charities including Action for Children's Exeter Family Hub, The Patchwork Women's and Children's Centre in Torquay, Trevi in Plymouth, and North Devon Against Domestic Abuse. These organisations work tirelessly to support families in need, providing essential services and care.
Stagecoach is encouraging donations of items like games, puzzles, craft kits, and sweet treats. They are confident that the generosity of staff and passengers will make a significant difference in spreading joy this Christmas.
The donation window will run from December 1st to 12th, with gifts being delivered to the charities the week before Christmas.
