A huge new winter ice rink is coming to the Westpoint Arena in Exeter this festive season.

Icescape Westpoint will take place from Thursday, December 12, 2024, until Sunday, January 5, 2025.

Westpoint's main arena will feature a real ice rink, accommodating up to 400 skaters during each 45-minute session.

A variety of skate sessions will be on offer, including a Parent Toddler offer where under 5s can skate for free with an adult ticket.

Pushchairs are allowed on the ice, and visitors can expect a special appearance from the event’s mascot, Pippen the Penguin.

Also on offer are quiet sessions, perfect for skaters who prefer a more relaxed atmosphere with fewer skaters on the ice and no music.

For those who love the busyness and music, disco sessions will be run on selected Friday evenings, and there will be a 2-4-1 ticket offer on selected Wednesdays.

Jamie Dann, Icescape Operations Director, said: “We are so excited to be bringing a new winter ice rink to Exeter this year. Westpoint Arena is a perfect location; it has plenty of free parking, and being inside the main arena means skaters can enjoy the ice rink whatever the weather. We can’t wait to welcome everyone this Christmas.”

Tickets are now on sale, and you can receive a discounted fare if you book at least a day before your visit.

There is also an early bird discount if you book before November 8.
