Opening: Tue–Sun 10am-5pm, closed Mondays.

Why go: 14th-century medieval passages showing how water was supplied to the city.
Opening: Open All Year. Monday to Wednesday Closed. Thursday-Friday 11am-4pm. Saturday 10.30am-4.30pm. Sunday 11am-4pm.

Where: Cathedral Close
Why go: Stunning Gothic architecture and medieval stained glass.
Opening: Mon–Fri 9.30am-4.30pm; Sat 9am–4.30pm; Sun 11.30 am–3pm
Cost: Exeter Cathedral receives no regular funding from the Church of England or the UK Government to support its work, so visitors are asked to pay a modest admission fee. Your visit helps maintain and support one of Europe’s finest cathedrals for future generations.

Why go: Norman castle ruins and scenic gardens. Combine a visit to Rougemont Gardens with a walk along the city walls.

Why go: The oldest building in Exeter. 900-year-old building with museum displays and gardens.
Opening: Sun 1pm–4pm; Mon 10am–4pm. Or you can book a private guided tour on any day of the week.
