Cosmic Kate set for lift off

Kate Doodson, Lindsay Lucas and Julie Hawker

After an incredible 14-year journey with East Devon digital solutions company Cosmic, Kate Doodson, affectionately known as Cosmic Kate, is stepping down from her role as Joint CEO.

Kate has been an integral part of the organisation, and a pioneer in digital transformation across its client-base, contributing significantly to its growth and success.

She has also been a driving force behind Cosmic's digital transformation initiatives, earning her a well-deserved reputation as a leader and innovator in the field.

Kate is moving to The Brandon Trust, a Bristol-based charity, where she will be employed as Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

Julie Hawker, Cosmic's other Joint CEO, said: "Kate has been an incredible asset to Cosmic, and her departure marks the end of a remarkable chapter. We are grateful for the passion, dedication, and innovation she has brought to our organisation. While we will miss her dearly, we are excited to see the positive impact she will undoubtedly make in her new role. Cosmic will continue to thrive, building on the strong development of projects and services achieved by Kate, and we wish her all the best in her new endeavours."

As Kate departs, Lindsay Lucas is joining the team as Senior Digital Consultant.

Lindsay brings with her more than 17 years of distinguished experience in the tech industry, with specialisms in operations, IT, project and account management. She has consistently led successful teams, cultivated strong customer engagement, and instigated transformative shifts in organisational culture.

Julie added: “It’s a huge pleasure to welcome Lindsay to Team Cosmic, and we are looking forward to bringing her clear expertise and experience to benefit Cosmic and its clients over the coming years. Its already clear to me that alongside her clear commercial skills and experience, Lindsay brings a major commitment to our social purpose and to help in developing the next chapter of Cosmic.”
