Plane forced to divert to Exeter after windshield cracked

January 7, 2023 - An Eastern Airways Avions de Transport Regional ATR-72-212A, registration G-CMFI flying from London Gatwick to Newquay was forced to divert to Exeter Airport when the right hand windshield cracked.

The aircraft was still on the ground in Exeter about 27 hours after landing.

No one was hurt and the plane landed safely.
