Award-winning land and environmental consultancy Dalcour Maclaren is the latest company to join the Exeter Science Park community.

Dalcour Maclaren is known for delivering innovative and specialist services to the energy, utilities, and infrastructure sectors.

Formed in 2003, the company has grown from three people to 470+ employees across 18 offices, covering England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Its teams are specialists in surveying, geomatics, environmental planning, and property asset management and are working with some of the largest firms in the UK, on projects which are instrumental in shaping the future of our planet.

Ivo Macfarlane, associate director of transport and infrastructure at Dalcour Maclaren, said: “The future has never been more exciting for us as the opportunities to contribute towards a cleaner, greener UK directly align with the company’s expertise. We are committed to minimising the negative and maximising the positive impact we have on the environment, as we work with our clients towards achieving the UK’s goal of hitting net zero emissions.

“We are delighted to be opening our 18th office in the Exeter Science Park Centre. This move brings many advantages, from the excellent road, rail and airport connections which will aid our recruitment efforts as we continue to build our presence in the south west, to being part of the innovative Science Park community. We're excited about the opportunities this brings, not just for us but for our clients in this region as well.”

Jason Buck, Senior Development Manager at Exeter Science Park, said they were delighted to welcome the Dalcour Maclaren team to Exeter. “As our Exeter Science Park community continues to develop, we are seeing more and more synergy between our businesses, something which will be of great benefit to both Dalcour Maclaren and our existing businesses.”
