Nicole Bates with some of the pupils
Staff from Exeter recycling and waste management company, Coastal Recycling, have been visiting local schools to educate pupils about tune alternative three Rs (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle).
Marketing manager Nicole Bates said: "I was absolutely blown away by their competent recycling knowledge, their brilliant questions and enthusiasm for protecting the future of our planet.
"I even learnt a thing or two from them including that there’s a type of wrapping paper that is made from elephant, cow, horse and donkey poo (no kidding! https://poopoopaper.com/). It makes great alternative from those dyed, laminated or glittery papers and would be the perfect Christmas conversation starter over a port or two!"
