An event which brought together global technology business leaders and local data specialists to highlight the responsible adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) is now available to view online, for free.

ExIST (Exeter Initiative for Science & Technology) and Exeter Chamber hosted the first in the series of sessions: Navigating the Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Frontier at Winslade Park in Exeter, earlier this month.

There were seven keynote speakers including Charles Courtney (Partner at Michelmores and The Earl of Devon), a representative from Microsoft and a former Meta software engineer.

They presented on a range of AI and ML related topics, including AI and Sustainability, AI and ML ethics and the adoption of AI and ML to drive business transformation.

The event looked at how businesses are using AI to support sustainability; delved into the ethics of AI and ML; highlighted the considerations that should be made at board level and addressed how to deal with the fall out of bad decisions and how to recover business credibility and brand equity.
