Watkins and Jay started their careers at Exeter City
December 8 2014 - Teenage Exeter City players Matt Jay and Ollie Watkins joined Conference South side Weston-super-Mare on month-long loan deals.
The pair both signed professional deals in the summer of 2016b after coming through the Grecians' youth ranks.
Jay, 18 at the time, was yet to score a goal for the first team after two starts and three substitute appearances.
Watkins, who was also 18, had made four appearances as a substitute for the Grecians.
Jay now plays for Colchester United in League 2, meanwhile Watkins' career sky rocketed with a move to Premiership Club Aston Villa in 2020. He also has nine England caps to his name.
