RAMM re-opens after Covid restrictions lifted

Exeter's RAMM

December 3, 2020 - Exeter’s Royal Albert Memorial Museum & Art Gallery (RAMM) announced that it was planning to re-open to the general public from Thursday 3 December 2020, following a government decision to move Exeter to tier 2 restrictions in response to the ongoing covid pandemic.

The museum had closed its doors during March and re-opened in late October. However, ten days after re-opening the doors were closed once again following the announcement of the country’s second lockdown.

Having previously prepared new coronavirus measures to ensure that guests were able to move around the museum safely and in accordance with government guidelines, RAMM staff were ready for a smooth reopening, and were looking forward to welcoming visitors once again.
