Ed Sheeran was spotted in the city
November 24, 2019 - Pop superstar Ed Sheeran made a surprise visit to Devon - to watch his wife play hockey at the University of Exeter.
Rumours started to spread the singer was at the Streatham campus to support Cherry Seaborn. Later a number of students took to social media to confirm they had seen him.
Beth, a second year student, bumped into Ed. She said: "He was watching the girls hockey match as his wife was playing."
