Hospiscare has launched a brand new campaign for local businesses to be the source of cherished memories for families during this special season.

From December 14 to 25, the charity is inviting companies to offer support by sponsoring between 12-24 hours of care on a specialist ward, enabling patients and their families to receive support when they need it most.

The 12 Days of care campaign has three different levels of support, with the option of paying monthly. In return not only will you receive all the benefits within the sponsorship packages but you will know that you have helped us provide the outstanding care that is needed.

As an independent local charity, Hospiscare has been supporting people in Devon living with life-limiting illnesses for over 40 years.

It covers more than 1,000 square miles of our county including Exeter, East and Mid Devon and North Dartmoor. If you’ve been diagnosed with any type of terminal illness, their expert doctors and nurses can help. Services include support at home, a specialist palliative care ward, out-patients clinics, and supportive therapies.

Hospiscare supports close to 2,500 people each year, in some of the hardest times possible. With less than 20 percent of funding coming from the NHS, the charity needs to raise around £8 million a year to continue to provide care.
