Passengers board a TUI plane at Exeter Airport
October 29, 2019 - It was announced that South West holidaymakers looking to fly from Exeter Airport would have even more choice for sunshine destinations in the following summer of 2020.
The return of Gran Canaria in the Canary Islands with TUI, and twice weekly flights to the Greek Islands of Corfu and Zante, and Antalya on Turkey’s Turquoise Coast, were among more than 35 international and domestic routes on offer from Exeter Airport.
And Ryanair confirmed that flights to Malta, Malaga and Alicante would operate year-round, bringing even more choice for holidaymakers across the South West whatever the time of year.
TUI and Ryanair’s routes were being introduced to complement the now defunct Flybe’s long-established domestic and international route network from Exeter Airport, where the airline was based.
