October 25, 2019 - Devon and Cornwall Police warned Plymouth Argyle and Exeter City fans not to attend St James Park without a ticket.
There was a large police presence at the game, which saw the arch-rivals come face-to-face.
The two teams hadn't met since an EFL Trophy match on October 3, 2017, which finished 2-2.
That game was played at Home Park, with the last game between the two sides in Exeter being played in September 2016.
Chief Inspector Tom Holmes said at the time: "Police are preparing to welcome several thousand football fans to Exeter for this game and are planning with our partners, including Exeter City and Plymouth Argyle football clubs, to deliver a safe and friendly community event.
"We are making a strong suggestion that fans without tickets do not attend the ground, as there will be no ticket sales on matchday and we hope that everyone attending the match has an enjoyable day - whatever the result!"
