October 24, 2020 - Exeter Chiefs were celebrating after completing their first domestic and European double as they beat Wasps to win the Premiership title.
The victory came seven days after Exeter beat Racing 92 to win their maiden European Champions Cup title and the Chiefs were just the fourth English side to win both the Premiership and top-tier continental title in the same season.
The final was played put in torrential rain at a deserted Twickenham due to Covid restrictions.
Rob Baxter toasted the success with a beer in his post-match press conference, where he was asked to sum up the fairytale story.
"To be honest with you, I don't think I can," he said.
"When you go through things week by week, your only thoughts are about achieving your goals and the next bit of process. We spent years and years and years trying to get into the Premiership. We got knocked back over and over again. We could've turned up in the Premiership and said, 'Right, we've achieved everything we wanted to achieve', but we didn't."
