Michelmores run raises impressive amount for charity

This year's Michelmores Charity 5k Run raised an impressive £16,196.94 for its charity partner, FearFree, who are working to break the cycle of abuse across the South West.

Powderham Castle provided the perfect backdrop for the annual event.

FearFree supports vulnerable families and individuals in our local communities who have been victims of abuse.

A Michelmores spokesperson said: Wellbeing, inclusivity and sustainability really matter to us, and formed the foundations of this year’s event. Those aged 14 years+ and of all fitness levels were invited to jog or run the route.

Many of our runners looked forward to a competitive event and this year was no exception. We encouraged green travel and all runners signed up received a race t-shirt, made from recycled materials, in their runners pack."
