Jeff with one of the charity's static homes in Exmouth
An Exeter charity chairman is planning to walk one million steps in under 10 weeks.
Jeff Merrett MBE is taking part in the Because I Can Challenge for Dream-A-Way.
Dream-A-Way has been making a difference to Devon’s children and adults with disabilities since 1993. The charity provides grants towards holidays and arranges fun days out so that guests can enjoy a much needed break. It also owns several holiday homes in Exmouth.
The charity is run completely by volunteers who give their time and services freely and more than 15,000 people have benefited since the charity was launched in 1993.
Jeff said: "I am planning walk one million steps (500 miles) before Christmas! Please can you help me to hit my fundraising target?
"Every pound raised will help Dream-A-Way make the impossible possible for people in Devon with any disabilities or life limiting illnesses."
