Christmas jumper season is here!

Christmas has officially arrived at Devon Air Ambulance's (DAA) Heavitree shop today with the team working hard to showcase their stock of over 300 preloved Christmas jumpers and other festive bric-a-brac.  

On the shop's Facebook page, the team, managed by Paul Sewter, have been building the excitement for the launch of Christmas stock by posting a series of videos counting down to Monday 16th October. The shop has an unbeatable range of Christmas stock including jumpers, dresses, and T-shirts, in both adult and kids' sizes. 

Paul said:  “In recent years we have really thrown ourselves into the fun of the Christmas season. Our locals and kind donors have joined us in this journey, and as we have more Christmas stock than ever before - we decided to launch a little earlier than usual, and Wow! what a response we have had - our day one sales have surpassed my wildest expectations! Merry Christmas everyone!" 

There really is something for everybody, which was evident as 30 Christmas jumpers were sold in the first hour of trading on Monday morning. By lunchtime, a further 20 Christmas jumpers had been sold! 

Brian Harvey, Retail Operations Manager at DAA has spent the day at Heavitree reveling in the early Christmas spirit: "We couldn't be more thrilled to share the exciting news that our Heavitree Christmas range has arrived, and it is better than ever! Pop in and have a look at our cozy Christmas clothing and festive bric-a-brac. You will need to be quick though as there’s a real love for the festive season here in Heavitree judging by the keen Christmas shoppers that we have seen today!”

Passing on your preloved items is a great way to support this local life-saving charity while also helping to save the planet too! Every penny raised in the shops helps to keep the DAA crews responding to those in need of urgent critical care caused by illness or injury.
