On 11 October 2015, a packed Sandy Park watched Romania versus Italy running out victors 32-22.
Fans who weren’t able to get a ticket for the game were able to watch it at a packed Fanzone in Northernhay Gardens.
Rugby World Cup 2015 brought in an extra 100,000 extra visitors to the city, more than 12,000 from overseas, boosting the local economy and creating a feel-good atmosphere throughout Exeter.
