October 6, 2022 - Exeter Carnival organisers were calling for volunteers to help out on the big day.
The new Exeter Carnival was due to take place on Saturday November 26 with an illuminated parade starting at 6pm.
People were being offered the chance to be part of the greatest comeback ever with the return of Exeter Carnival after 24 years.
Exeter Carnival was being organised by InExeter and sponsored by Visit Exeter.
As well as being able to say they were part of bringing back Exeter Carnival, volunteers were told they would gain important experience and be able to list this amazing event on their CV.
The role was unpaid, but a hot dinner was provided as well as refreshments on the evening.
The last Exeter Carnival before the 2021 event was held in November 1998.
