Flooding in Exeter after night of heavy rainfall

October 5, 2021 - The South West of England experienced heavy rainfall that led to widespread flooding across parts of Devon.

In Exeter, the situation became particularly chaotic as Longbrook Street turned into a waterlogged obstacle course, with cars struggling through the floodwaters before the police eventually closed off the area.
