Build It Live returns to Exeter

Homeowners and aspiring self-builders will be able to find expert advice, practical guidance and inspiration all under one roof when Build It Live returns to Westpoint Exeter on the weekend of 13 and 14 September 2025.

Organised by the UK’s leading self-build magazine, Build It, the event will showcase the latest ideas, products and services for anyone planning a self-build, extension or major renovation.

Visitors will be able to meet local and national suppliers, from architects and oak-framed home specialists to heating, glazing and eco-product providers, as well as explore the Land Zone to see self-build plots available across the UK.

A programme of free live talks, seminars and one-to-one clinics will offer impartial advice on key topics including extensions, heating systems, build costs and basement construction. The show will also feature areas dedicated to sustainable building products, glazing options, and different construction methods.

With home improvement trends in 2025 focusing on energy efficiency, multifunctional spaces and smart technology, exhibitors will provide solutions for projects of all sizes and budgets. Visitors can also hear real-life stories from self-builders who have completed their own projects.

The event runs from 10am to 5pm on Saturday and 10am to 4.30pm on Sunday. Tickets are £12 per person, with free entry for under-16s accompanied by an adult, and are valid for one or both days. Free parking and on-site catering are available.
