ReviewSolicitors has become a go-to platform for thousands of UK law firms – and for good reason. Often described as “TripAdvisor for the legal sector,” it offers clients a chance to share their experiences and gives firms the tools to turn that feedback into long-term growth.
“We help law firms collect, manage and showcase their client feedback,” explains Adam Hall, Head of Partnerships. “It’s about helping firms highlight their strengths, improve services, and ultimately build trust in the legal profession.”
That trust-building mission is a big part of why ReviewSolicitors is backing the Solicitor of the Year award at this year’s DASLS Legal Awards. It’s the second time the company has supported the event – and for Adam, it’s a perfect fit.
“Every great law firm has a solicitor going above and beyond,” he says. “This award is an opportunity to spotlight individuals who consistently lead with integrity, professionalism, and genuine care – values that align closely with our platform.”
Founded to bring greater transparency to the legal world, ReviewSolicitors now works with over 4,000 UK law firms, providing them with easy-to-use tools that gather and publish verified client reviews.
Through features like case management integrations, automated review requests and data-driven scheduling, firms can reach clients at the right moment and receive meaningful feedback – without adding extra admin.
“Lots of law firms want reviews but struggle to get them,” says Adam. “We make it simple. For example, when a solicitor closes a case in their internal system, it can automatically trigger a review request. Clients can leave feedback without creating an account, and they can do it anonymously if the matter is sensitive. That’s huge in areas like family, employment or criminal law.”
ReviewSolicitors handles the entire review collection process, allowing firms to focus on client relationships rather than admin. “We want firms to focus on the client relationship, not on chasing reviews,” Adam adds.
Clients, too, are becoming more review-conscious. “People are increasingly treating legal services like any other big decision,” says Lydia Sewell, Content Writer at ReviewSolicitors. “They want reassurance before committing, and that means turning to online reviews. In a sector where trust and reputation are everything, reviews provide reassurance.”
With more than 30 local law society partnerships and a strong presence across England and Wales, Review Solicitors has developed deep roots in the legal community. Devon, in particular, holds a special place in the platform’s story.
“Some of our earliest adopters were based in Devon,” says Adam. “It’s always been a bit of a hotspot for firms that care deeply about service quality and client outcomes.”
One of those firms, Wollens – located on Pynes Hill in Exeter – has been with ReviewSolicitors for over six years and has collected nearly ten times more reviews on the platform than through other services they use. “It’s about consistency,” Adam says. “Strong communication, clear expectations, and client care – when firms get that right, it’s reflected in the feedback.”
The company also has its eye on the future. “ReviewSolicitors has got some exciting developments on the horizon – we’re about to launch a brand-new website,” says Lydia. “It’s been completely redesigned with the user experience in mind. It’s smoother, faster, and even easier for clients to find the right solicitor for their needs.”
The new platform will also introduce AI tools, designed to help users articulate their legal issues more clearly. “We know that clients can struggle to explain what they need, especially when they’re stressed or unsure,” Lydia explains.
“These tools will guide them through the process, making it simpler to connect with the right solicitor. It’s all part of our mission to make legal services more accessible, more transparent, and more client-focused than ever before.”
As for the DASLS Awards, both Adam and Lydia are looking forward to returning. “There was such a buzz in the room – you could feel how much it meant to people,” says Adam.
Lydia adds, “The positivity and genuine support across the legal community stood out. It wasn’t just about the awards – it was about real connection. We can’t wait to be part of it again.”
