Technical Solutions Architect Barry Byrne
The mind-blowing potential of AI to disrupt the workplace was spelled out at a business briefing event run by Exeter-based Nexus Open Systems.
Technical Solutions Architect Barry Byrne told the audience his team were already using the software to handle complex internal tasks as well as some more mundane ones such as document filing, analysis and retrieval.
Barry told how one huge employer was using an AI programme which was capable of doing the equivalent work of 700 customer service staff.
And he said the technology was just months away from being able to code better than any human on the planet.
