Big news for Devon County Show

The Devon County Show has secured a new headline sponsor for the next three years, with Cornish Mutual stepping up to the role.

The South West-based insurer, which has long been a supporter of the agricultural community, is taking its partnership with the event to new heights after sponsoring the main livestock arena since 2022.

With its roots firmly planted in the heart of the farming world, Cornish Mutual is a natural fit for the Devon County Show, the largest agricultural event in the county, which attracts around 90,000 visitors each year.

The show is an annual celebration of Devon’s farming heritage, featuring everything from livestock judging to thrilling equestrian events, food stalls, and much more. Whether you're a country enthusiast or just in it for the giant vegetable competitions, there's something for everyone!

Lisa Moore, Devon County Show Manager, shared her excitement about the new collaboration: “The Devon County Show is the biggest agricultural event in the county and relies heavily on the generosity of sponsors. Being able to sign a three-year deal with such a well-established brand that aligns so closely with ours... is a perfect match, and tremendously reassuring for the future of the Show.”

With Cornish Mutual on board as the headline sponsor, visitors can expect even more highlights across the three-day event. From the Cornish Mutual livestock arena to the vibrant Farmers' Hub, the Show will be buzzing with activity. Expect to see a stand on Avenue D, overlooking the main arena, as well as breed boards in the livestock judging rings, showcasing the region's finest animals.
