Exeter Chiefs legend Gareth Steenson is launching a business career as a coach, pundit and host.
We reported earlier this month how the 40-year-old had announced that the 2023/24 season would be his last campaign at Sandy Park.
He now plans to return to his native Northern Ireland to pursue new opportunities.
It brings to a close a remarkable journey for the Dungannon-born playmaker, who has been instrumental in the rise of the Devon club in recent years.
Latterly part of the coaching team, Gareth joined the Chiefs back in 2009 from the Cornish Pirates and went onto become the club’s leading points-scorer of all time.
Announcing his retirement from the game, he said: “I’ve had a great journey and one which I’ve been very fortunate to be on both sides. I’ve been in the changing room, I’ve been in the coaches office, I’ve seen it from all different angles."
Steeno has launched a new website promoting his wide set of skills.
