A sea of Santas swept through the city centre for the annual festive Exeter Santa Run in December. Organised by Exeter City Community Trust, the partner charity of Exeter City Football Club, the seasonal spectacular saw more than 450 people take part in the event which set off from Princesshay.
Participants chose between a 2.5k family fun run or a 5k distance. They could take part for fun, or raise money for charity, including Exeter City Community Trust, with donations helping to support the charity’s work in the community.
Exeter City Community Trust organises running events throughout the year. 2024 kicks off with a half marathon on 10 February, the Granite Way on 10 March, its flagship Exeter Live Better Marathon and community five mile on 12 May and the 10k River Run on 28 June. www.exetercct.org
