Global leader in renewable energy ENGIE has recently acquired Ixora Energy Ltd.
Ixora operates three plants in the South West (including Gorst Energy in Clyst St Mary) and using high quality AD technology, processes energy crops, agricultural waste and animal manures to produce biogas which is used to generate renewable electricity or gas. This renewable energy is injected into the gas and electricity grid, serving thousands of homes local to each plant.
