Police appeal for witnesses after rush hour collision between bike and car

Fremington rush hour collision between and motorcycle and a car saw the biker taken to hospital with potentially serious injuries

A motorcyclist was taken to hospital following a collision with a car in Fremington during rush hour on Friday, March 27.

Police have appealed for witnesses of the crash on Mill Hill at around 5.15pm, which brought traffic to a standstill.

Devon & Cornwall Police said the biker ‘sustained potentially serious injuries’.

Many of those who were in the traffic queue or lived nearby commented on social media the air ambulance wa seen landing in the playing field.

Police said they would like to thank members of the public who stopped at the scene to assist the casualty.
