Seven lucky Northam residents have landed the People’s Postcode Lottery Millionaire Street pot to scoop more than £140,000 each.
The seven all receive a cool £142,857 after EX39 1EZ was revealed as the weekly winner today (Saturday, March 14). All the winners have chosen to remain anonymous.
Lottery ambassador Matt Johnson congratulated the winners, adding: “It’s a stunning part of the world and how wonderful for friends and neighbours to share this experience together. It’ll be cream teas all round!”
The win also means local charities will receive a surprise funding boost.
Thanks to Postcode e Lottery players, The Northam Care Trust (formerly Northam Lodge) been given £100,000.
Charity CEO Jo Howell said the funding will help to achieve their ‘dream’ of building a ‘life-changing’ hydrotherapy pool.
She said: “I cannot thank the players of Postcode Lottery enough. This incredible £100,000 award brings us a huge step closer to making our dream of building a hydrotherapy pool a reality.
“This will be a transformative, much‑needed resource - not only for the people we support, but for the wider local community as well.
“Your generosity is helping us create something truly life‑changing. Thank you.”

People’s Postcode Lottery costs £12.50 a month to play and there are guaranteed winners every day, with one lucky postcode winning the Saturday Millionaire Street draw. People play with their chosen postcode and are automatically entered into all draws.
