Torbay roadworks: Ongoing and upcoming closures

Key routes in Paignton, Torquay and Brixham affected as utility and council works continue through March

Busy road in Offaly closed for road works today

Drivers in Torbay are being warned of delays as roadworks continue across the area.

Paignton

  • Totnes Road – Two-way lights outside Du-kom-in for South West Water works, ongoing until 19 March.

  • Dartmouth Road – BT works outside number 239, two-way lights from 9.30am to 3.30pm, due to end 18 March.

  • Sands Road Level Crossing – Railtrack overnight closures running 15–16 March.

Torquay

  • Marldon Road – Two-way lights outside number 59 by BT, finishing 13 March, 9.30am–2.30pm.

  • Old Mill Road – Road closure adjacent to Chelston Manor Hotel until 23 March.

  • Happaway Road – Two-way lights from Halsteads Road to Barton Hill Road, continuing until 20 March.

  • Church Road – Closure from Fore Street to Moor Lane for Wales & West Utilities works, until 18 May.

Brixham

  • Dartmouth Road (Kennels Road to Manor Vale Road) – Three-way lights overnight from 7pm to 7am, ending 14 March.

  • Dartmouth Road (Greenway Lane to Dartmouth Road) – Western Power Distribution closure in place until 29 May.

Motorists are advised to plan journeys ahead, allow extra travel time, and follow temporary traffic management signs.
