Sidmouth Jazz & Blues Festival unveils star-studded 2025 lineup

Soul II Soul, Gabrielle, Curtis Stigers, and Eric Bibb lead an exciting lineup for the Sidmouth International Jazz & Blues Festival this May

Excitement is building for the fourth edition of the Sidmouth International Jazz & Blues Festival, taking place from Friday 23 May to Monday 26 May 2025.

With ticket demand expected to be higher than ever, festival organisers have confirmed that general sales open on Monday 10 February.

A limited number of discounted 'residents' daytime-only tickets - offering access to the daytime music sessions - will be available in early March via the Sidmouth Tourist Information Centre, supported by Sidmouth Town Council.

This year’s festival promises a star-studded lineup with Soul II Soul opening on Friday 23 May, bringing their legendary hits "Keep on Movin’" and "Back to Life" to Sidmouth.

Gabrielle headlines on Saturday 24 May, performing favourites like "Rise" and "Dreams", while Curtis Stigers returns on Sunday 25 May, delivering smooth jazz classics such as "I Wonder Why".

The festival will close with Grammy-nominated blues icon Eric Bibb on Monday 26 May.

Beyond the headline acts, festivalgoers can expect an eclectic mix of jazz, blues, soul, funk, and Latin music on the main outdoor stage, featuring artists such as Nubiyan Twist, JTQ, Laurence Jones, and Wolfgang Valbrun.

The festival will also continue its ‘Love Local’ initiative, showcasing regional talent. Further details about free street performances, local venue gigs, and the Peacock Lawn stage will be announced soon.

Festival Director Ian Bowden said this year’s event will build on the success of previous editions and continue to bring cultural and economic benefits to Sidmouth.

"This year’s festival promises to raise the bar even higher in terms of quality and diversity. We’re immensely proud of the positive feedback we've received from the Sidmouth community and beyond. The festival continues to draw attendees from across the UK and the South West, making a significant positive cultural and economic impact for the town and the region."
