YOU CAN SAUNA (Ongoing)
Head to Haldon Forest for a relaxing sauna and cold plunge experience in a secluded woodland setting. Enjoy a traditional wood-fired sauna built by Baltic experts, heated to around 90°C, alongside several cold plunges for contrast therapy. With views across Dartmoor, a fire pit and outdoor seating, it’s a refreshing way to start the new year. One-hour sessions cost £15.
ICESCAPE WESTPOINT (On now until 4 January)
The ice rink is back at Westpoint Arena for Winter 2025! With space for up to 400 skaters per session, there’s plenty of room to glide, twirl and skate. Check out the variety of sessions designed for all ages and abilities including Parent & Toddler Sessions, Quiet Sessions, Friday Night Disco Sessions (Adults only!) and 2-for-1 Thursdays.
THE WINTERTIME HOTEL (On now until 4 January)
This immersive winter theatre experience from Theatre Alibi (Emmanuel Hall) is packed with quirky characters, magical creatures and lots of surprises. Designed for all ages, the show lasts around one hour and runs at various times on Saturdays and Sundays. A charming and imaginative seasonal treat for the whole family. Tickets: £8 / £10 / £12 + booking fee (under 1s go free).
WILD (3 and 4 January)
Your final chance to see Wild, an exhibition at RAMM exploring our relationship with the natural world. Through global case studies, it looks at rewilding, restored traditions and the return of biodiversity, showing how people are reshaping landscapes for a more hopeful future.
THE ART OF APPRECIATION (On now until 4 January)
Visit Exeter Cathedral for this winter community exhibition showcasing artwork created by local people. Inspired by themes of gratitude and thanks, the exhibition offers a thoughtful and reflective way to enjoy the cathedral space during the festive season.
