PANTO 

JACK AND THE BEANSTALK (On now until 4 January)

Head to Exeter Northcott Theatre for a lively pantomime from the popular partnership of Exeter Northcott and Le Navet Bête. This larger-than-life take on Jack and the Beanstalk promises plenty of laughs, thrills, special effects and giant-sized fun for children and adults alike.

CINEMA

MARTY SUPREME (27 and 28 December)

Timothée Chalamet stars in this film set in 1950s New York, following a man with dreams of becoming a champion table tennis player. Screening at Exeter Picturehouse, with two showings on each day.

THE WINTERTIME HOTEL (On now until 4 January)

This brand-new immersive winter theatre experience Alibi Theatre (Emmanuel Hall) is full of quirky characters, magical creatures, snowy surprises and plenty of festive charm. Suitable for all ages. The show lasts around one hour, with various performance times on Saturdays and Sundays.

CHRISTMAS AT THE CASTLE (On now until 31 December)

Explore Powderham Castle and its grounds as they’re transformed for the festive season, with sparkling lights, Christmas music and beautifully decorated rooms and pathways. A great option for stretching your legs while enjoying the seasonal atmosphere.

GLOW AT RHS ROSEMOOR (On now until 30 December)

Create magical festive memories as the Glow winter illuminations return to RHS Rosemoor in north Devon. Enjoy a brand-new light trail filled with colourful displays, festive surprises, seasonal food and drink. Wander through the gardens as they’re lit up against the night sky. Bookings from 4.30pm–8.30pm
