FIREWORKS

Firework Display - 1 November 

Enjoy a Halloween-themed Fireworks Spooktacular at Westpoint Exeter, choreographed to music by Sonic, the 2022 British Firework Champions. Expect dazzling displays, fairground rides, and plenty of food and drink. Gates open 5.30pm, close 7pm. Advance booking only – no tickets on the gate.

Pumpkin Garden Trail – On now until 2 November

Celebrate the season at RHS Rosemoor’s Pumpkin Garden Trail. Wander through pumpkin displays, spooky scarecrows, and a harvest banquet scene while learning about pumpkin carving traditions and seasonal recipes. Open 10am–5pm daily.

DANCE

Bloom – 1 November

Discover BLOOM by Richard Chappell Dance, featuring highlights from the company’s repertoire and performances by rising South West artists. Expect a powerful evening of contemporary dance at Exeter Northcott Theatre, starting 7.30pm.

CINEMA

Corpse Bride – 1 November

Celebrate the 20th anniversary of Tim Burton’s gothic classic Corpse Bride at the Exeter Picture House. Follow a shy groom who accidentally proposes to a bride from beyond the grave in this hauntingly funny tale. Screening starts 10am.

MUSIC

London Concertante: Ella and Friends – 1 November

Experience Ella and Friends at Exeter Cathedral, a cabaret-style tribute to jazz legend Ella Fitzgerald. With strings, rhythm, and trumpet, the show celebrates her Great American Songbook hits and collaborations with Louis Armstrong, plus nods to icons like Billie Holiday and Nina Simone. Starts 7.30pm.
